Whiston Hospital has set up an operating theatre in Southport Hospital

Dear Formby Bubble:

I have been waiting ages for treatment to skin cancer at Whiston hospital. I got a call from Whiston to say they have set up a new operation in Southport hospital and I could be treated within a week.

I went along today and was met by the team from Whiston. They have their own self-contained space including a recovery room and an operating theatre.

The operation and plastic surgery was carried out by a specialist from Whiston supported by a full team from Whiston. Nothing could have been better.

Whiston is famous as a centre of expertise for all dermatology services and this is now available locally housed within the Southport hospital.
