We are sorry to announce the passing of Dr Peter Gould aged 87 years from Formby

We are sorry to announce the passing of

DR PETER GOULD BSc (HONS), AKC, PhD, CPhys, MInstP - Aged 87years. Dr Gould died peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Peter moved with his beloved wife, Frances, to Formby in 1964 after gaining a Mathematics Lectureship at Liverpool University.  He was active in Holy Trinity Church, acting for many years as a sidesman. He also served on the PTA for Redgate Primary School. He made many friends in his neighbourhoods, first around Marshallsay and then College Avenue.  He loved the Village centre and enjoyed chatting to the shopkeepers - who all knew him!  HIs final year was spent happily at Halcyon House.

Peter's funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Formby at 11am on Thursday 23rd January, following on immediately after the service into The

Workshop.
