Two Formby Primary Schools come together with the Harvesting theme at Redgate Community Allotment
The theme of Harvesting brought two of Formby’s Primary schools together yesterday morning.
Year 3 from St. Luke’s and Redgate Primary’s Gardening Club met at the Redgate Community Allotment situated at the front of the school on Redgate.
The two groups of pupils had a lovely morning and thoroughly enjoyed chatting about their favourite fruit and vegetables harvested this time of year. In addition, they also planted daffodil bulbs together ready for next spring.
Mrs Davis of Redgate Primary said: “Thank you so much to Miss Murdock and the staff and pupils of Year 3 St. Lukes. We had such a great morning and look forward to doing more partnership work at the Allotment soon.”
Well done everyone sounds like a great day.
What a wonderful initiative by the two Formby primary schools! Coming together with a harvesting theme at the Redgate Community Allotment is not only educational but also fosters a sense of community and teamwork among the students. It's inspiring to see young minds engaging with nature and learning valuable skills that will serve them for a lifetime.
As we celebrate these local efforts in education and community building, it's essential to remember that academic support is also crucial for students' overall success. If anyone needs assistance with their studies, university assignment help is a fantastic resource to consider. It can provide the guidance needed to excel in various subjects while allowing students to participate in enriching community activities like this.
