Tickets for Formby Little Theatre’s production of award winning comedy ‘Heroes’ are now on sale

The Little Theatre is situated next to the Scout Hut just off the pathway that links Lonsdale Road with Rosemary Lane.

The play, which was written by Frenchman Gerald Sibleyras and translated by Tom Stoppard, is a wonderful comedy which won many awards when it was released.

Winner of London’s prestigious Olivier Award for Best New Comedy in 2006, ‘ Heroes’ is a gentle comedy set on a sun dappled terrace of an old soldiers’ home just outside Paris.

Here three veterans of the First World War meet daily to talk about the minutiae of everyday life until, that is, they concoct a cunning plan of escape!

Will they succeed despite agoraphobia, war wounds and fainting spells ?
