Search Underway for Missing Person at Formby Beach

Emergency services have launched a search operation after a person was reported missing in the Lifeboat Road area of Formby Beach.

Southport Lifeboat has deployed both its lifeboat and quad bikes to search the shoreline and surrounding areas. In addition, a police aeroplane has been circling over Formby, assisting in the search efforts from the air.

The search remains ongoing, and no further details have been confirmed at this time. We will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.
