RTC on Formby bypass at Hightown Junction northbound, please avoid the area

RTC on #Formby Bypass at the Hightown junction, northbound, traffic is bad and building up through the woods backing up to Brooms Cross.

Emergency services are at the scene including Merseyside Fire and Rescue, four ambulances and a lot of Police cars.

Please avoid the area if possible, obviously don’t go the Hightown back roads trying to get to Formby. The bypass is now closed going towards Southport.
