Range High School letter to all the parents/Carers of their children returning to school tomorrow, Monday 8th March.

Dear Parents/Carers

I hope this letter finds you all well and looking forward to school reopening.

School has not felt or been the same without the vast majority of pupils in the building. We have had some key worker pupils in school and it has been lovely seeing them here and accessing their on-line learning. I am genuinely really excited to welcome all pupils back into the building next week. Schools are happy places when they are full of students and there is a buzz of learning in the air.

As we move forward with the reopening of our school Merseyside Police have asked me to share some information with you in support of the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions and some behaviour concerns they have in the Formby area.

Please do speak to your child and explain that whilst school may be reopening the lockdown situation continues. Pupils will be expected to act sensibly when outside of school, whether they are in or out of uniform, and only travel for essential purposes.

Please explain that they should continue to follow social distancing measures to safeguard everyone in our community. And the message ‘Hands, Face, Space’, still applies.

For anyone travelling via public transport masks continue to be an important part of that message, just as they continue to be important inside the school building.

I am thankful that the situation in relation to the dispersal zones and the incidents that the Police refer to does not involve any of our pupils. But I am mindful that the Police are continuing to make routine patrols in the area and so would ask everyone to be vigilant and play their part in keeping everyone safe.
