Poor Vera is still very patiently waiting for her forever home to come along💔

Vera is a unbelievably beautiful soul, she is approx 8/9yrs old and is a large cross breed, she’s the female scooby doo!!

A spokesperson for Carla Lane Animals In Need said: “Vera came into Carla Lane as she was at risk of loosing her life, her time was up at the pound and nobody else was in the position to offer her help.”

“She was in quite a state when she came into us, her nails where awfully overgrown, she was covered in sores, she was very overwhelmed and just needed a bit of TLC!”

“The Vera we see now is a completely different dog… She is happy, affectionate, loving and gentle. Vera is a laid back girl, what more could you want? She loves to sleep, eat and cuddle. Vera enjoys her walks, she’s great on a harness and will just trot about. Vera just needs a happy quiet life.”

“Vera has had her check up with the vets as she does have some lumps and bump but has been given the okay.”

“Vera is good with some dogs but will tell them off when they are too much for her, she is best in a pet free home. In line with our rehoming policy we do not rehome to families with children under the age of 12yrs. All homes must have a secure garden/yard with atleast 5ft fencing.“

“Please help us find this gorgeous gentle giant her forever home.”
