Police issued 113 parking tickets in Formby today for parking offences that happen every sunny day
Every time we have a hot sunny day in our Bubble, thousands of visitors descend on Formby. They block driveways, they park on yellow lines, they park irresponsibly and dangerously all over Formby but today, a resident complained to the police.
The police took action and headed to Formby only to dish out 113 parking tickets! What a result.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: “In response to a Formby resident complaining of dangerous parking near to the beach in good weather, we deployed one of our patrols to the area. 113 tickets later.”
Don’t come to Formby and block our driveways and block our pavements or you will get a ticket. Hopefully police will continue to do this throughout the summer.
