Police Arrest Man Following Incident at Formby Restaurant

A man has been arrested following a disturbance at Suay Pan Asian Restaurant on School Lane, Formby, this evening.

Merseyside Police confirmed they were called to the restaurant at approximately 7:35 pm after reports of a man behaving violently towards staff.

A police spokesperson stated: “We were called at 7:35 pm to a report that a male had become violent with staff. The male, aged in his 50s, has since been located and arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.”

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
