Ongoing roadworks at Kirklake Road are set to continue

Residents and road users may have noticed ongoing works at the end of Ward Avenue and Kirklake Road, which have been in progress for some time now. The works, carried out by SP Energy Networks, are essential utility repair and maintenance works aimed at improving infrastructure in the area.
These works officially began on 6th March at 08:45 AM and are scheduled to continue until 26th March at 16:30 PM.
To facilitate the work, two-way traffic signals have been put in place, meaning delays are possible, especially during peak times. Additionally, a footway closure is in effect, but an alternative pedestrian route has been provided.

The permit for the works has been granted under reference GY612LVS2PH6GKR-A-02, and SP Energy Networks remains responsible for the project.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to plan ahead, allow extra time for their journeys, and follow all signage in place. For further updates, visit Causeway one.network or check with Sefton Council.
