National Trust Formby beach car park is closed from today for resurfacing works
The National Trust Formby at Victoria Road car park, also known as the Red Squirrel Reserve, will be closed from today for most of the week.
The beach car park has been in a bad state of repair for some time now and there have been large potholes across the parking area.
A spokesperson from the National Trust said: “From today, Monday 26th April, Victoria Road beach car park will be closed whilst we carry out some resurfacing along the main car park access routes. We expect it to be closed for most of the week to complete the work.”
“If you’re planning a visit to the beach please park at Lifeboat Road.”
