Little Acorns in Formby have announced that they will be closing down in November.

They wrote a statement on their Facebook page which said:

“To our little acorns families, after 5 amazing years it is with great sadness that today I announce that Little Acorns will permanently close on Thursday 14th November.”

“This has been a very difficult decision that has not been made lightly, however I feel the time is right to change direction and unfortunately that means that Little Acorns will be closing its doors.”

“I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your unwavering support over the last 5 years it has been a real privilege to be part of your child’s development from newborn to starting school.

Little Acorns has welcomed so many visitors through our doors and we will treasure the memories we have made always.”

“As some of you may be aware, a new soft play is about to hit Formby and we are super excited for Barry and team to open @jungleplayformby , we can’t wait to visit with our own children (you might even recognise some of the equipment in their toddler section).”

”We wish Barry and team every success and hope to see you all there supporting another amazing Formby business.”

“Again, a huge thank you to you to every single one of you that has supported us. We hope to see you with us over the next four weeks to say our proper goodbyes.”

“We’ll try to hold it together, but we can’t promise there won’t be tears. It’s going to be a hard goodbye.”

“Lastly, not forgetting my amazing team that have supported me throughout the years,

Eve, Helen and Zoe, you have been my dream team and I couldn’t have done it without you.”
