It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Jean Sowden, who died peacefully at home on 6th April 2025, aged 81.

Jean was a much-loved and devoted mother, grandmother, auntie, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A funeral service to celebrate Jean’s life will take place at St Michael’s Church on Thursday, 2nd May at 1:30pm. All who knew Jean are welcome to attend and pay their respects.
