It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Houghton (nee Norris)

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we announce the loss of the most loving, caring and thoughtful Mum.

Janet Houghton (nee Norris) sadly passed away in SDGH after a mighty fight against her ill heath on 26/02/2025, she showed great spirit, determination and wry humour to the very end in every effort to beat this, however she died peacefully with her family around her.

She leaves her Daughter, Tracey, and son, Simon.

The funeral is to be held on Thursday 27/03/25 at 10am at Our Ladys on School Lane, Formby, followed by the Committal at Southport Crem at 12 noon.

Family flowers only but, donations can be made to two of the charities very close to Janet's heart:

The Heart Foundation and Breast Cancer.

Donations will be collected on the day alternatively they can be sent to Howards's Funeral Directors, Roe Lane, Southport.
