It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Muriel (Pat) O’Shaughnessy, who passed away peacefully at Locharwoods Care Home on 5th March 2025, aged 94 years.

A devoted Mum and Nana, Muriel was the heart of our extended family, a woman of warmth, kindness, and love. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with her six children and ten grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her wisdom and unwavering support.

Now reunited with Dad, may she rest in peace knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

A service to celebrate Muriel’s life will be held on Thursday, 20th March 2025, at 10am at Southport Crematorium,

Donations, if desired, may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in Muriel’s memory.

With love and gratitude, we remember a remarkable woman who will remain forever in our hearts.
