FRANK'S REPORT FROM FORMBY JUNIOR SPORTS CLUB

The new Formby Junior Sports Club season got underway last weekend as the Inter Club boys returned to football with great enthusiasm and all looking inches taller than last season.

In addition a number of new recruits joined the groups from Reception up to and including Year Seven and all seemed to thoroughly enjoy the lively coaching sessions followed by a fun match. All in all it was an excellent start to FJSC’s 63rd season.

NEW MEMBERS WELCOME

There is room for new members to join in every age group. All are welcome to come along and give football a go at Formby Junior Sports Club. For children new to the Formby area it’s a great way to quickly make new friends.

INTER CLUB ARRANGEMENTS FOR SATURDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER.

All sessions are at Deansgate Lane Playing Fields.

START TIMES

9.30am. Years 4/5

9.45am Years 6/7

10.45am Reception and Year 1

11.15am Year 2 and Year 3

Everyone has a coaching session for half an hour which is followed by a thirty minute match. Everyone plays regardless of ability.

LAST SATURDAYS SCORERS

The following boys were amongst the scorers on the opening day of the season - Harry Hughes, Max Seiffert, Jack Williams, Joseph Kenyon, Zac Hooson-Jones, Rory Rankine, Isaac Jones, Archie Weir, Lucas Lewis, Albie Salters, Abe Rice, Patrick Fleming, Isaac Dey and Ethan Richmond.

REPRESESENTATIVE TEAM FOOTBALL

The FJSC Representative teams are looking forward to start their fixtures next weekend. This includes first ever matches for the club’s new teams - FJSC Under 7 White and FJSC Under 8 Red.
