Formby Squirrel Reserve will be closed due to high winds on Thursday

Gale force winds of 29mph are forecast overnight and tomorrow.

For safety reasons the National Trust, Victoria Road car park will be closed on Thursday 11th March. Victoria Road toilets will also be closed on Thursday 11th March and for some of Friday 12th March.

National Trust said they are aiming to re-open on Friday 12th March after storm safety checks.

You would be best planning your visit for another day. The car park at National Trust, Lifeboat Road in Formby will remain open.
