Formby Cricket Club are trying to raise £2,000 to build a new groundsmen's shed with a 24hr walk

Formby CC 1XI captain James Seward and new recruits Ryan Brown and Calum Turner will be doing a continuous 24 hour walk around Formby Cricket Club to raise £2000 for the club.

This is in order to build a new groundsmen’s shed that stores vital ground equipment used year-round. The old shed is beyond repair and is inappropriate for storing machinery.

They will be also raising money for Opening Up, a local mental health charity, whose aim is to promote mental well-being and suicide prevention through Cricket.
