Top marks for FCFC…
Formby Community Football Club have been awarded the 3-star highest accreditation by England Football.
The award recognises football clubs who have proved a commitment to an inclusive pathway for everyone who want to get involved in the game.
“We know that players, coaches and volunteers who find themselves in an accredited environment are more likely to stay in the game and develop a lifelong passion for it.” Said Tina Hamilton from FCFC.
Football leagues and clubs accredited by The FA have positively changed the football landscape over the last 20 years. They create the ideal environments to nurture players, coaches and volunteers. The result is greater diversity and inclusivity through football.
England Football Accredited replaces The FA Charter Standard and is the next chapter in this amazing story as we unite even more communities by supporting Leagues and Clubs over the next ten years.
“We want to ensure we are providing safe, respectful, inclusive pathways, and environments for football in England. FCFC is fully committed to ensuring that the infrastructure is robust, that everyone has access to all support mechanisms and that we continue to meet the requirements.” Said Gayle Wells of FCFC.
“We look forward to connecting and collaborating with you, and to supporting you in your development.” Said Mick Baikie, Tom Lee and Nathan Batchelor from England Football.
