Don’t forget to put out your green bins tonight for the first collection of the year in Formby.
Monday 8th March will see the green bin collection resumed in Formby.
What you need to know...
All recycling can go together in the brown bins or hessian sacks. Please note that green wheelie bins can be emptied up until 8pm on collection days. Residents must not put any extra bags of general waste or recycling at the kerbside for collection.
Residents must ensure that the lids of their bins are fully closed when out for collection. If you have any additional waste or recycling that will not fit into your bin with a closed lid please take it to the nearest tip.
We have been told that Sefton Council will not be issuing the green bin calendars any more to households, so we have printed one here for you, although it is small, we hope it might help with future collections.
How can I find out my collection dates?
Please see the bin collection calendar which operates on a 3 weekly service.
