Do Not come to Formby! It’s completely full! ALL roads are gridlocked from Brooms Cross
Please do not try and come to Formby, all roads from Brooms Cross are completely gridlocked. There is no space in Formby either, all car parks are full. Police have coned off all roads in the vicinity of the beach so no parking anywhere.
A spokesperson from National Trust Formby said: “Both Victoria Road and Lifeboat Road car parks are full and are closed. We expect that most people enjoying Formby will be here for the day with no parking spaces becoming available.“
“If you’re considering visiting us today, we’d encourage you to walk, cycle or safely use public transport or perhaps find a different place to enjoy this sunny day out in the North West.”
”Thank you for not blocking roads, pavements and driveways as not only does this put pressure on the local community it also creates access issues for emergency services.”
“You can find out more about other great places to visit in the North West here https://bit.ly/2Sfg4D7”
“We look forward to welcoming you on a quieter day. We’re open 7 days a week all year round.”
“Thank you for your support and understanding. Together we can make sure Formby is a happy, healthy and safe place for everyone to visit.”
