Crowds flocked to enjoy the annual Formby Village Nativity today at Formby Pool Gardens
Crowds flocked to enjoy the annual Formby Village Nativity despite inclement weather.
Starring Krystyna Skyba, a Ukranian refugee to Formby as Mary who delighted the crowd with her natural flair. John Miller as baby Jesus and Alex Renouf as Joseph.
The story told by Angel Gabriel followed Mary and her cousins Elizabeth and Zach through to the births of their babies Jesus and John the Baptist. With lots of humour and crowd interaction, the play kept everyone entertained.
"It is a lovely community event to celebrate Christmas" said Dympna Edwards from Churches Together.
Many thanks to Dympna Edwards for writing this year's adaptation and to everyone involved in the production. It was lovely to see the crowd who braved the cold and the burst of rain!
