Get Ready for the Formby Christmas Lights Switch-On!

Mark your calendars for an unforgettable night of festive fun at Formby’s Christmas Lights Switch-On! Happening Thursday 21st November, from 3pm to 8pm, this traditional celebration on Chapel Lane is the perfect way to start the holiday season.

The Christmas Tree is now up in Formby Village and ready and waiting for Thursday's Christmas Lights Switch On!

Peppa pig will be switching the Christmas lights on with Santa this year!

Our Christmas Tree this year was full of snow when it snowed on 18th November

Event Highlights:

• Chapel Lane Road Closure: Starting at 12 noon, Chapel Lane will be pedestrian-only, allowing you to stroll, shop, and enjoy the holiday magic with ease.

• Entertainment & Music: Festivities kick off at 4pm with live entertainment on the main stage. Don’t miss performances by local schools and choirs, filling the air with festive cheer and carols.

• Fairground Rides & Family Fun: Rides are on from 3pm to 8pm. Bring the whole family for a winter wonderland experience complete with classic fairground rides.

• The Big Switch-On at 7pm: Gather around for the main event—a dazzling lights display to light up Formby and officially kick off the season!
