Car Care in Formby is closing down after twelve years of service

Car Care in Formby is closing down their shop on Green Lane.

Steve Balmer has run Car Care in Formby for twelve years and is very sad to announce that he will be closing his doors on Wednesday 7th June 2023.

Steve said: “It is with great regret that Formby Car Care will be shutting down from Wednesday next week. To all my customer’s, thankyou for your custom over the years. I can no longer keep the shop open due to trade being so poor, so I am taking retirement as I am at that age now anyway.”

“It is costing me money to keep the shop open and I can’t afford it. If anyone needs anything, I will offer a small home service through the cobblers and if there are any outstanding orders, they will be fulfilled or refunded. It’s very sad, I love all my customers, it’s been lovely knowing you all. Your friend, Steve.”

Car Care was originally on Liverpool Road in Formby but in July 2021, they moved to Green Lane (opposite the Grapes), inside the cobblers shop to save on ever rising costs.

Steve has been a fantastic asset to the people of Formby and him and his shop will be missed.
