Altcar Training Camp -reminder of no Trespassing

Trespassing on Altcar Training Camp. Can we please remind everyone that Altcar Training Camp is a Ministry of Defence establishment and as such is out of bounds to those not entitled to enter the site. Over recent days and the last 3 weekends we have had a large number of personnel entering the camp via the beach. This is despite a large number of signs; see photo. Only today, 3 old WW2 mortars were unearthed which required the Army disposal squad to come to site and destroy the shells. This just shows how dangerous it is to be on an area that individuals are not familiar with. It is imperative that those not entitled to enter Altcar Training Camp do not try and use it as a short cut from the beach or indeed over the perimeter fence at the Formby cycle path or the path leading down to the beach. The Police may well be called and individuals prosecuted. We do not want to have an accident on camp due to any trespassers. Thank you.
