Air Ambulance called out to Formby beach today when a woman fell from her horse
A female horse rider was airlifted to hospital after falling off her horse on Formby beach today.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 10am this morning, Friday 2nd April following reports of an accident.
Northwest Ambulance also waiting at Lifeboat Road car park
We have been informed that the female horse rider had fallen from her horse and suffered a back injury which meant the Air Ambulance had to be called.
The north west air ambulance landed on the beach and flew the woman to hospital.
We do not know the extent of the woman's injury’s at this time.
