Now, onto the match highlights! 🍊

Team Roundup

U11 Falcon Boys

Back to winning ways for the Falcon Boys! After some tough matches, they picked up a well-earned win against Maghull Yellows. Great to see those smiles back on the pitch!

U18 Girls

It was a game of two halves for the U18 Girls. A slow start left them 1-0 down at half-time, but after a little team talk, they came back flying in the second half to win 4-1. That’s the spirit!

U7 Falcon Boys

A tough match for the U7 Falcon Boys against Kingsway, but they never gave up! Special shoutout to Luca, who was a superstar in goal, making loads of brilliant saves. A well-deserved Player of the Match! 🍊

U13 Oranges

Despite a 4-2 loss to Sporting Club Merseyside, the Oranges showed great determination. Beau’s goal had us all hoping for a comeback, but sometimes the ball just doesn’t bounce your way. They’ll be back stronger next week! 🧡

U9 Lion Boys

After a sleepy start (it was a 9am kick-off!), the Lion Boys found their rhythm in the second half. They put in an incredible performance, scoring goals and showing just how much they’ve improved. 🦁

U10 Rocket Boys

The Rockets were in fine form, with goals from Zidane and Luke sealing a well-deserved 4-1 victory. Tom, Luke, and Zidane all earned Players of the Game mentions. A great team effort from start to finish! 🚀

U18 Boys

The U18 Boys played out a thrilling 5-5 draw, leading throughout but just couldn’t shake off Marshalls. It was one of those games that kept everyone on the edge of their seat. Not great for the nerves, but plenty of positives to take! 😅

U16 Boys

Facing South Sefton Eagles with only 9 players, the U16 Boys put up a brave fight. The Eagles kindly lent a couple of players for the second half, and despite a 6-1 loss, it was a great display of sportsmanship all round. 👏 The U16 Boys are looking for players, so please get in touch if you are looking to play!

U14 Barca Boys

A rollercoaster game for the Barca Boys, who were 5-3 up at half-time but ended up losing 11-5. Football can be unpredictable like that, but they’ll regroup and come back ready for the next challenge!

U15 Black Boys vs St George’

A difficult first half left the U15 Blacks 5-0 down, but they came out fighting in the second half and even scored a goal. The final score wasn’t in their favour, but the improvement was clear to see!

U8 Bengal Boys

The Bengals worked hard for a well-earned draw in their first league match. Even with stand-in goalkeepers, they defended brilliantly and showed great team spirit. Well done, Bengals! 🐯

U13 Girls

In a game that didn’t affect their league position, the U13 Girls tried a few new things, but ultimately lost 3-0 to Southport Trinity. No worries, though—they’re still heading into the top league! 💪

U8 Girls

What a performance from the U8 Girls in just their third-ever match! They took the lead but ran out of steam in the last few minutes. Progress is the key, and these girls are improving with every game.

U11 Rapid & Raider Girls

The Rapids took an early lead in their derby against the Raiders, with goals from Holly and Mia. Both teams played some lovely football, with the Rapids coming out on top. Great effort from both sides!

U13 Purples

The U13 Purples gave REMYCA a real battle, coming back from 3-0 down to 3-3 before eventually losing 9-5. Their No.9 was hard to handle, but the effort and teamwork from the Purples was fantastic. Next time, they’ll be ready! 😊

U12 Girls

The U12 Girls had no subs but plenty of determination! They played some lovely football and ran out 3-0 winners. Every player gave it their all, and they truly deserved the win. 👏

U9 Tiger Girls

The Tiger Girls showed great energy and determination today. A special moment came when one of their defenders went on a solo run, dribbling through the entire team to score a brilliant goal! 🐯

U6 Boys – FCFC Blacks & Oranges

Two teams, two fantastic performances from our youngest players!

FCFC Black played a tight match against Crosby Stuart, while FCFC Orange put in a great all-round effort to win their game. Both teams were a joy to watch. Well done to Eddie and Oscar for their Player of the Match awards! 😊

Ladies First Team

No game for the Ladies this week, but they’ve been recharging and are ready to take on the University of Liverpool next weekend. Let’s keep the winning streak going, ladies! 💪

U14 Boys

After last week’s drama, the U14 Boys kept things calm this week with a brilliant 10-0 win over Marina Sands. Lots of lovely football on display, and the boys are off to a flying start this season! ⚽

And finally… a HUGE THANK YOU to all our amazing Managers! 👏 From coaching and organising to managing the teams and keeping us up to date with match reports and photos, FCFC wouldn’t be the same without you. Your hard work keeps everything running smoothly, and we are so grateful for all you do. THANK YOU! 🧡
