Range High School Pupils Celebrate A-Level Results
This is a difficult and challenging year for all of our students but particularly those in Y13 facing uncertain times as they are about to take up the next chapter of their lives.
Here at Range, the results once again have proved to be very strong for the vast majority of our students despite too many of their teacher grades being lowered following the unfathomable system in place this year. The students, their families and our teachers should be thrilled and proud that so many of our leavers are going off to their university of choice or are taking up other pathways that are difficult to secure in a very competitive environment.
Students from Range will be heading across the country in a few weeks to pursue a wide array of undergraduate studies including Architecture, Chinese, Fine Art, Professional Acting and Veterinary Medicine to name but a few at Universities of Durham, Lancaster, Liverpool, Oxford and Sheffield- also to name but a few!
Two of our students have also secured degree apprenticeships with the Police and with the Royal Navy and one student will be taking up a training position with a local accountancy company. Well done and a huge congratulations to all of you. You should all be as equally proud of your achievements and your commitment to your studies as in any other year, you have earned your qualifications.
We wish you every success as you embark on the next exciting stage of your lives.
