Here at Village Vets we’ll be continuing to offer our usual services for as long as we can to people who are able to come to us but we are putting contingency measures in place too.
We are currently asking that only one person attend with each pet and make us aware if you are unwell or self-isolating so we can arrange the best way for you to access our services.
We will be offering video or telephone consultations where appropriate as well as home delivery of any medicines or pet food we usually supply to anyone vulnerable and/or self-isolating while we still have all of our team at work and will continue to do so as long as we can.

Hello,
In view of our current unprecedented situation, I thought it necessary to write a post explaining our position. After speaking with the team, we are more than happy (for as long as we are allowed) to continue with our dog walking/boarding service. However, we are aware that some of our lovely customers have had or continue to be in vulnerable health situations. With this in mind we want you to know we are all carrying hand sanitizer and we are very conscious of distancing ourselves when collecting and dropping off. With this in mind, we can collect from a designated space, eg, garden, secure porch or utility room, therefore minimising our contact with you.
During our walk, we very rarely come in to close contact with people and we can ensure we avoid all people during this time. On return, we can place your dog back in to the designated space and will use anti bacterial wipes to clean any leads.
I hope this helps and we can continue with as little disruption as possible.
