Book now for hospice Christmas tree collection
St. Joseph’s Hospice, in Thornton, is offering Christmas tree collections to residents in Waterloo, Crosby, Thornton, Hightown, Formby and Maghull in January.
Hospice volunteers will be out in force collecting real Christmas trees on 11th and 12th January for a minimum donation of £10. Christmas trees can also be taken to the hospice, on Ince Road in Thornton, over the same weekend for a minimum donation of just £5.
The collections are run entirely by volunteers in partnership with Just Helping, a UK charity which inspires people to contribute to their local community. The scheme raises valuable funds for the hospice each year. It is also an environmentally friendly way to dispose of your tree as it will be recycled and used in the hospice grounds.
If you live in postcode areas L22, L23, L31, L37 or L38, please visit www.charityxmastreecollection.com to register your collection on the St. Joseph’s Hospice page. Collections must be booked by midnight on Sunday 5th January.
