Football fun at FJSC

Formby Junior Sports Club’s 61 st season is now only just a few days away.

Join us for the New Season, learn new skills, play great games and make new friends. FJSC’s Inter Club “Kick Off” is Saturday Morning 7 th September at Deansgate Lane Playing Fields.

Boys Reception 9.30 am Boys Years 1 to 8 10.00 am Girls Years 5 to 11 10.30 am Girls Reception. 11.00 am Girls Years 1 to 4 11.00 am

All children are asked to arrive fifteen minutes before their start time to help club organisation. Many children have already renewed their membership from last season and a number of new members have already joined. There is room in every age group and there are no trials and everyone regardless of their ability is included. Coaching will be available as well as games in nearly all groups with a UEFA coach.

Alternatively children can join on Saturday 7th September before the start times. For potential new members children may have a two weeks taster time to see if they enjoy it before payment of the year’s subscription. A membership form does need to be completed by each parent before the child plays football. All administration will take place in the clubhouse.

Membership fees are the same as last season. Many of FJSC’s Representative teams will also be in action over the weekend of 7 th and 8 th September. Some teams will start a week later. Arrangements for these matches will be announced soon.
