The Rotary Club of Formby recently held its annual Past Presidents Night. This is when the retiring President hands over to the new President.
The evening took place at Bistro Moulin in Formby. The guests had an excellent meal followed by the formal thanks to retiring President, Alan Gibson, who had had a very successful year in office and had welcomed seven new members to the club during his Presidential year.
The incoming President is Claire Hocking and the club all wish her a successful and interesting year. Although it's not polite to mention a lady's age, Claire is the youngest member of the club and we all hope to be inspired by her youth and vitality!!
Also present to welcome Claire into her Presidency was District Governor Bob Maskell and his wife Kate. The Club all extend their best wishes to him for his year of office. Pictures show Immediate Past President Alan Gibson, District Governor Bob Maskell and President Claire Hocking. The lower picture shows President Claire in her regalia!
