Formby High School pupil and her Border Collie win 1st place at Crufts


Formby High School pupil Jodie Grayson, 14 years old, has achieved a first place at Crufts in Obedience with her 2 1/2 year old Border Collie 'Skye'.


Jodie has had Skye from a puppy, she began & continues her training at West Lancs Canine Centre, Moss Side, Formby, where she quickly progressed into the West Lancs Dog Display Team, under the tutorage of the skilled trainers.


Jodie further trains with Southport Alsation Training Club and also Andrea Little, specifically in obedience.


Jodie and Skye qualified for the Crufts Young Kennel Club final in basic and novice obedience and also the Good Citizen Scheme stakes.


The winning pair put in a very impressive performance to secure a first place, later followed with a sixth and third positions, doing her trainers incredibly proud.


Jodie has two younger Collies at home & hopes to compete with them both in the future.
