Don't forget to put your Green Bin out for the first collection of the year on Monday 4th March
The Green Bin collections will commence again on Monday 4th March. This will be the first collection since last November. The next collection will be on Monday 4th March 2019.
We have been told that Sefton Council will not be issuing the green bin calendars any more to households, so we have printed one here for you, although it is small, we hope it might help with future collections.
What you need to know... All recycling can go together in the brown bins or hessian sacks. Please note that green wheelie bins can be emptied up until 8pm on collection days. Residents must not put any extra bags of general waste or recycling at the kerbside for collection. To report a missed collection, please wait until after 5pm on collection day before you report it. They could be late, but on their way.
Residents must ensure that the lids of their bins are fully closed when out for collection. If you have any additional waste or recycling that will not fit into your bin with a closed lid please take it to the nearest tip.
