Formby Methodist Church have had an amazing display of weeping poppies

Formby Methodist Church have had an amazing display of weeping poppies for everyone to enjoy over the last week. Only one day left to go and have a look. Hayley James from the church said: “This week saw the culmination of our poppy project. All of the clay poppies have been gathered and curated and our very own weeping cross has been on display in Formby Methodist Church.” “Our poppy display has had a wonderful number of visitors with very positive responses. We are open Saturday so if you’ve not been yet, why not pop in. We’re also gathering a fairly large collection of peace cranes, so why not make one whilst you’re here to add to the collection.”

“If you haven’t had a chance to pop in, we are open again tomorrow 10th November from 10am to 11:30am, so do pop by and see the poppies for yourself. We also have a special all age service on Sunday at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you.”
