Formby locals to host fundraising event this Sunday

Formby locals are hosting a fundraising event this sunday 9th September in the Formby Gild hall activity centre (behind guild hall). A group of fundraisers will be there between 9-5 pm, and will have a cake sale, bric-a-brac, stalls, vintage clothes, a raffle (with signed liverpool shirt, case of wine, cinema tickets for a family, plus lots more).
Rosalind Sands is trying to raise awearness for the event said: "We are raising money for the Walton Neurological centre to raise money for something called’ SaeboMas’ which is a 'deweighting system' for the arm that assists with support and exercises for the arm when patients are struggling it is a rehabilitation aid for people with neurological disorders and stroke patients etc"
Bill Sands who had spent months in The Walton Centre in rehabilitation, has raised somewhere near £3000 for the GAIN charity who helps with the illness that he suffers with. Walton neuro saved his life so he wants to help with raising money for vital equiptment that can help people like him in the future.
