Maintenance Assistant - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Cedars Care Group is a family run company with 15 years of experience in Nursing, Dementia and Elderly Care and has 7 boutique homes across the UK.

We are now seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance person on a fixed term contract of 6 months for our Nursing Home in Formby, to undertake various works.

Benefits include: £12.00 per hour rate of pay Fixed term contract 6 months 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday

Responsibilities: You will be responsible for a range of repairs and maintenance including general maintenance tasks, including refurbishment of bedrooms and communal areas, health and safety checks. Demonstrable ability to complete duties including painting and decorating, general maintenance, good record keeping skills are essential.

Previous experience within a maintenance role is desirable. A full clean driving licence is also required and flexibility required to travel to our other residential homes in Southport if needed. You must be able to work on your own and complete tasks in a timely manner as well as being able to use your own initiative when needed.
