Formby Rotary Club Cock-A-Hoop

The Rotary Club of Formby has just celebrated its Past Presidents Night. This is where the outgoing, President George Rodda, was thanked for all his hard work and effort over the preceding year, and handed over the badge of office to the incoming President for the next year, Alan Gibson.

To mark this event, the Club visited Southport Croquet Club, where the experts tried to teach the members some of the tactics of this fascinating game. Southport Croquet Club once again welcomed Formby Rotary Club warmly. Our thanks go to everyone from the Croquet Club who helped on the night.

After the exertions of the afternoon, Club members retired to Bistro Pierre in Southport for an excellent meal and to toast the outgoing and incoming Presidents.
