New Football Club in Formby and they are looking for players and sponsors

Starting next season Formby Wanderers Under 11s (Year 6 in September) have entered the Craven Minor League and will play their home fixtures at Deansgate Lane. We currently have space for a couple of players to join the squad and if you’d like to pop along for a trial they currently train every Wednesday, 6-7pm at Deansgate Lane. (In the furthest field from the car park) This new club also have one eye on the future and will be starting a development club for reception school year in September. The sessions will be fun and based around developing their skills and preparing them to play representative football from under 7. If you’re interested in starting a new team or wanting to affiliate with Formby Wanderers but don’t know where to begin, the committee are willing to consider applications from new teams. We’re also looking for local businesses to join the club as it starts this exciting new venture with various sponsorship packages available.
