Formby Festival was born in 2013, since then it has grown into a pinnacle part of Formby’s summer calendar. Each year families from across the North West travel to take in the delights we have to offer!

From our countless world food and drink stalls to the thriving main stage and even the specialist children’s entertainment we have there truly is something for everyone to enjoy!

Formby Festival was set up to try and recreate the old Formby Show that was a highlight across the country many years ago. We set out to create a new event with a twist which could incorporate food, drink and music and last for a weekend offering something for all ages.

It has since grown over the past few years and is firmly set on the calendar as the third weekend in July. Over 10,000 people attend this event and it is growing each year.

Formby festival runs from Friday 20th July until Sunday 22nd July.
