Merseyside Police Traffic and Dog Unit had to call on the Police Helicopter last night between 21:55hrs to 00:50hrs.
The helicopter was called to provide tactical support as traffic police engaged in a search for suspects and vehicles in the Formby area.
A police chase took place down Liverpool Road, Ravenmeols and onto Bills Lane.
