Formby Veterinary Nurse wins Outstanding Contribution to Pet Health Counselling Gold Award

Parker and Crowther Veterinary Surgery in Formby are celebrating and wishing huge congratulations to Head Nurse at their Formby Practice Clare.

Clare was was awarded the Outstanding Contribution to Pet Health Counselling Gold Award at the Royal Canin Pet Health Counsellor Awards Ceremony recently. This is a very prestigious award that has only been given four times in the last 25 years and is in recognition of all the hard work that Clare has put in as a pet health counsellor over the last 10 years.

The awards put the spotlight on those who go above and beyond to help educate owners and improve the lives of their dogs and cats and provide Veterinary Nurses the chance to showcase their commitment to preventative health care and running innovative pet health clinics in practice.

With previous years shining the light on anything from heart and asthma clinics to puppy parties, nutrition sessions and weigh-in clubs, the awards provide Veterinary Nurses the chance to showcase their commitment to preventative health care and running innovative pet health clinics in practice.

Winners receive between £200 and £250 worth of shopping vouchers, with the overall PHC of the Year award winner receiving £1,500 of shopping vouchers. Any Veterinary Nurse who has attended the PHC course is eligible to enter.
