A massive THANKYOU to Formby Fitness from Ormskirk Hospital children's ward

For a second year, Formby Fitness organised a TOY APPEAL for the children in Ormskirk hospital and local childrens home. The toys were for 0-16yrs old children to be given on Christmas Day.

Barry Hall, owner of Formby Fitness said: "The faces on some of the children was amazing so from all the staff at Formby Fitness Gym and from the hospital, a MASSIVE THANKYOU to all of the Formby Fitness members and local residents who have supported the Toy Appeal. The children will wake up to them on Christmas Day. This Christmas you have made such a difference to so many children's lives, thankyou."

A spokesperson from Ormskirk Hospital said: "We are over the moon with your very kind donation of Christmas gifts to the children's ward at Ormskirk hospital. The presents will be wrapped and given out on Christmas Eve and Christmas day to all the children who attend the ward, assessment bay and A&E."

"We are very thankful to you, your colleagues and clients for collecting these lovely gifts and delivering them to us safely. The chocolates will be given out to the children on Christmas Day and some will be put in the parents room for the parents to enjoy a cup of tea and some chocolate while they have a little break and time to relax. Thanks again and we hope to see you again next year."
