Sanderlings Club getting in to the Christmas spirit after a brisk walk on the beach
After a brisk walk on the beach to inspect a cetacean carcass before it was removed, it was time to get into the festive spirit for our Sanderlings Club.
Intrepid as ever, glue, willow, paint, pine cones and fake snow hold no fear for this crew - it was time to make some serious Christmas decorations.
Before you could say "Bing Crosby" the Christmas Festive Hits CD had played through twice, pine cones were sprayed, wreaths twisted and candle holders carefully fashioned for another great December.
Wishing all our Sanderlings a great Christmas and New Year - hope to see you all in 2018. Surprisingly, despite all the industrious creativity, once the morning was over, you could hardly tell we'd been there...
