Tesco Formby are doing the Great Tesco Walk from Land's End to John O'Groat's

Tesco Formby are taking part in a unique relay for up to 7,000 Tesco employees from Land’s End to John O' Groat’s - starting on 5th Sept 2017 and finishing 31 days later after an epic 2,400 km journey!

In the final year of Tesco's National Charity Partnership with Diabetes UK and the British Heart Foundation, The Great Tesco Walk will be the biggest fundraising event in Tesco's history - and the longest event in Action Challenge's history!

The walk will be broken up into ‘Legs’ of up to 50 kms each day, and Tesco colleagues will take on a full or half leg, with 10 & 5 km options in some areas for the less seasoned walkers. There will be a 'Tesco Torch' up front lighting the way - and we keep you updated with how the walk progresses as it snakes across the country passing hundreds of Tesco stores and famous landmarks en route.

It's hoped that over £3 million will be raised this September for the Tesco National Charity Partnership. So next time you're in your local Tesco store - and you see a collection bucket for The Great Tesco Walk - don't forget to donate to their challenge!

In support of the Tesco Great Walk, Tesco Formby will be running a national campaign asking customers if they would like to round up their bill to the nearest 10p at the checkout, giving up their spare change to support these leading charities.
