The Freshfield Pub opens it's doors at 6pm tonight - everyone welcome

The Freshfield pub in Formby has had a beautiful refurbishment and will open it's doors tonight to the public at 6pm.

The popular Formby pub closed on Monday 31st July for a 'freshen up' and Formby Bubble were invited in today for a sneak preview. We were pleasantly surprised to see the changes which were quite amazing considering only being closed for just over a week.

We first noticed how bright and welcoming the decor was with lighter shades and a homely, rural feeling that was really nice. There was an abundance of house plants placed on shelving that felt warm and pleasant. The new patio doors at the back have opened up the pub to a lovely external seating area with the usual Freshie array of flowers that always look beautiful.

Pleasant seating areas for groups of friends or for intimate dining.

General Manager, Jo Gillespie said: "We are opening at 6pm tonight, Friday 11th August for drinks only and our full menu will resume from Saturday 12th August at 12noon. We will have 14 'Real Ales' and also a new 'Gin Bar'. Tonight we have Laurel and Hardy from Lookalikes Magic to entertain the guests. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in the fun."
