Please Help Olivia McKie Thomson with her Fundraising! She will be cycling the Manchester to Blackpool Bike ride on the 9th July. This is a 60 mile bike ride that she has never done before and has never rode further than 10 miles.
Olivia said: "I am in Year 8 at Range High School. Following a visit from the Shyira Trust to our school, I was moved by the needs they were supporting for a nation (Rwanda) that has been ravaged by Civil War and especially for children in need of education and basic support - things I take for granted. So please help me do my little part to provide a better opportunity for someone less fortunate than me!"
So far, Olivia has raised nearly half of her £500 target. Olivia is doing this completely of her own accord and it would be great if we, as a community, could support her. If you can, it would be very helpful if you could make a small donation. Even £1 each, between lots of people would make a massive difference.
Olivia said: "Deciding to do this will be a significant challenge for me. With the help of my Dad, I should be able to do it! There is no obligation to contribute and please don't feel pressured to do so and only contribute if you can. Thankyou."
