Appeal for information after Arson attack on a Formby home

An Arson attack on a Formby home caused damage to the property last night, Friday 16th June.
Between the hours of Midnight and 1am, someone set fire to a banner which was hanging on the side of a house. The banner caused damage to the drainpipes and phone lines at the property.
The owner of the house said: "Last night between the hours of 12 and 1am some idiots set fire to a banner hanging on the side of our house. This has caused damage to drainpipes and phone lines but could have been far worse as our bedroom was right next to the fire. The police are treating it as arson with intent to endanger lives."
"If anyone was around Andrews Lane and Barton Heys Road area last night and saw or heard anything suspicious at this time or indeed has any CCTV that would help the Police, can you please get in touch."
