Formby Live three day Music Festival is almost here, everything you need to know is here...

Formby Village comes alive again this year for the Formby Live three day music festival.

This year's Formby Live Music Festival will take place over the weekend of 16th - 18th June.

Participating local venues including Woodwards and Cafe D'Art, will have live music all weekend starting Friday evening.

On Saturday and Sunday afternoon there will be a 'Busking Stage' in Chapel Lane, BBQ's and some stalls.

On Sunday, Formby Pool will host the Merseycats main stage featuring a fantastic line up of rock 'n' roll bands as well as children's rides, picnic and BBQ factilities.

Sadly, we won't be applying for a road closure in the village this year because funds are too little, and helpers are too few, unless anyone can come forward to help?

Saturday and Sunday at Formby Pool, The Merseycats stage will present a succession of Rock 'n' Roll performances from 13 bands. As usual, Formby Pool will have a picnic area and amusements for all the family throughout the weekend.

Saturday and Sunday in Chapel Lane. The 'Busk Stop' stage will be presenting a variety of musical entertainment throughout the afteroon. Also, Woodwards and Cafe D'Art will hold an Afternoon 'Ramble' when a variety of artists will be performing at both venues from 2pm. In the evening both venues will have live music 'tll late and Woodwards are very pleased to announce that the Captains of Industry will be performing on Saturday at 9:30pm!

The event is funded by contributions from Formby Parish Council, Waitrose Community Fund and the participating bars. The organisers are always keen to make this year's festival the best ever and are constantly looking to invite local businesses to help with sponsorship.
